What we collect
When you complete the assessment, we collect your name, email address, age, biological sex, height and weight, the health concerns and symptoms you select or describe, information about your current diet, lifestyle and stress levels, your longevity goals, and any supplements or medications you choose to tell us about. Payment is processed directly by Stripe - we never see or store your card details.
Why we collect it
This information is used only to generate your personalised longevity nutrition report, applying the ten-foundation framework from The Ascension Diet: Already Whole to your specific profile.
This is educational content, not medical advice
Your report is educational content intended to build your awareness of areas of nutrition science that may be relevant to you. It is not medical advice, health advice, or a treatment recommendation, and no food, nutrient, or supplement described in it is a cure or treatment for any medical condition. Please consult a qualified health practitioner about any health concern.
Who we share it with
Your information is used only to generate your report and is shared only with the service providers who help us deliver it - for AI-assisted report generation (Anthropic), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery (Google). We never sell your information, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Some of these service providers are located overseas (in the United States); by using the App you consent to your information being handled by them for the purposes described here.
How long we keep it
Your report is accessible via a private, emailed link that expires 30 days after it's issued. The underlying assessment answers and report content are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or until you ask us to delete them (see "Your choices" below).
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including restricting access to our systems, using scoped API credentials, and storing data on Google's secure infrastructure. No online system is completely risk-free, and we continue to review and improve our security practices as the App grows.
How your report is generated
Your report is produced with the assistance of an AI language model (Claude, by Anthropic), applied to the ten-foundation framework and the information you provide. We tell you this so you understand how the report is produced. It is written for your own reading and reflection - it does not make any decision about you or on your behalf.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent for us to continue storing it, at any time by emailing privacy@ascensiondiet.com. We'll action your request as soon as reasonably possible.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first at privacy@ascensiondiet.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the App evolves. The current version will always be available at this page.
